Is there taurine in your raw cat food?

Why do you add taurine? Are there any other supplements in the cat food?

Yes, to fully protect your cat.

We are proud to say that ours is the only raw cat food that is naturally balanced to FEDIAF nutritional guidelines - this means that all the required vitamins and minerals come from the quality ingredients we use, adjusted to the correct quantities to provide complete nutrition.

The only exception to this is that we add a tiny top-up of taurine. Taurine occurs naturally in meat, offal, and heart so there is plenty already in the recipe. Taurine is not just essential to a cat's health, it’s absolutely vital.

We've added a little extra to give you peace of mind. And as it is a water-soluble nutrient any unused taurine will simply be wee’d away.
